ERIK TEN HAG has been seen for the first time since he flew back to Holland from Manchester United after being fired.
The boss was finally fired earlier this week at Old Trafford after the club had a terrible start to the season.
This season, the Red Devils had won just three of their league games under the Dutchman. It was the worst start they had ever had.
It was clear that something had to be done because Manchester United was 13th in the Premier League.
Ten Hag’s team lost 2-1 to West Ham at the London Stadium, which was the last straw.
Even though his team had the better of the game, they didn’t take advantage of their chances, and a Jarrod Bowen penalty sealed the loss.
Ten Hag, who is 54 years old, took a private jet back to his home country of Holland after being fired.
He doesn’t seem to want to take a break from sports, though.
It turned out that Ten Hag waited just a few days before going to a Dutch Eredivisie game between Heracles Almelo and NAC Breda.
Brain De Keersmaecker scored two goals at the Erve Asito stage to help Heracles win 2-0.
During the show, Sjors Blaauw, an ESPN announcer, pointed to Ten Hag.
“Erik ten Hag has time, of course,” he said. He’s going to Almelo to watch a good sports game during that time.
Since Ten Hag left, Man United has only won one game.
