Elling Haaland seemed to tell a rival player to “f*** off” after Wednesday night’s 0-0 draw between Man City and Inter Milan.
The Inter striker Francesco Acerbi gave the Man City striker a lesson that kept him quiet, but he had a lot to say afterward.
As Haaland and his City teammates tried to score, they were met by a strong Inter defending at the Etihad.
The dangerous forward had hoped to score his 100th goal for City.
The Premier League winners couldn’t get close to Milan because keeper Yann Sommer made several great stops.
While Alessandro Bastoni and Acerbi worked together to help stop the Norwegian goal machine.
After the game was over, the 36-year-old veteran ran straight for a furious Haaland.
After shaking hands, the two started a lively conversation.
As they switched clothes, both players seemed to be talking while pulling at the other’s top.
People saw Acerbi hold up two fingers, which seemed to mean he wanted to bring more than one gift back to Milan.
Many of his friends thought Haaland said to him, “Two?!” in shock.
TNT Sport cameras caught the friendly exchange, and after the striker’s fake rage, both players burst out laughing.
One person laughed and said on X, “That was the best part of the match.”
“Did Acarbi just ask Haaland for two of his shirts and Haaland tell him?” wrote someone else. “LMAO.”
Another person let out a gasp and said, “36-year-old Acerbi has stolen Haaland, bro damn.”
Another person said, “Haaland could not pass the Acerbi test AGAIN.”
Kevin De Bruyne was taken off at halfway with what looked like an injury, which was a bad sign for City.
