Erling Haaland showed that he does not forget when he blanked Marc Cucurella even though the Chelsea player had asked for his help to stretch out a cramp.

Not only that, but Haaland made fun of the Spanish player in an interview with former Norwegian player Jan Aage Fjortoft after the game.

In the middle of Spain’s Euro 2024 celebrations, Cucurella sang a song that made direct reference to Haaland, whose Norway did not make it to the event.

Hialand, you better be ready to shake because Cucurella is coming, Cucurella and his teammates sang. 

But in the end, it was the Manchester City shooter who got the upper hand over Cucurella.

The Chelsea defender had to be pushed off by Haaland before he scored City’s first goal of the afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

But in the second half, there was a time when Cucurella really could have used his opponent’s help.

The Spanish player fell to the ground and gasped in pain. He had a cramp.

Then he looked up at Haaland and asked for help to stretch it out.

The Norwegian didn’t even try to help Cucurella; he just walked away.

Soon after, Cucurella was taken off and Renato Veiga was put on in his place.

It was bad for Cucurella that he had to walk past City’s away fans to get to Chelsea’s bench.

There were loud calls from City fans when they saw the Spanish player.

Supporters of City wanted to put the boot in, but Haaland still didn’t want to do that.

He told Viaplay after the game, “That was an interesting song from that guy [Cucurella].”

“I don’t have much to say.” That doesn’t really bother me. He is free to do what he wants.

“He asked me for my jersey last year and then started singing about me,” she said.

Even though Haaland might not have wanted to say anything else about Cucurella, he did make fun of Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea’s captain.

The Argentine played in the middle of Chelsea’s defence but didn’t have much of an effect on the game.

Fernandez was criticised by Haaland for hitting too hard, but it was also suggested that it wasn’t just the captain who played rough.

“Every time he [Fernandez] stamps on me, he pushes me and everything else,” Haaland told Match of the Day.

“I have no idea what they want, but I guess that’s what they do.”
