Erling Haaland was invited by the club to attend an official opening of Jærhallen – an indoor training facility at Bryne stadium. The newly-renovated Jærhallen was a place where Haaland himself spent a lot of time growing up, training football at all times of the day.

Haaland also received the club’s badge of honour during the ceremony. The visit ended with Erling officially opening the facility with a penalty on one of the local kids – he tucked the ball home, of course saying, “Sorry – I had to score!”

Additionally, Bryne FK declared that Haaland had donated training gear and equipment to the hundreds of young football players in the city of Bryne.

.

Erling had the opportunity to catch up with some of his former club pals during the visit. He greeted the children with a hug and a handshake before taking their photos and signing signatures. An incredible opportunity for each young person working with Bryne in an environment where No. 9 is a living legend and an example of what is possible with perseverance.
