Following his reunion with a former teammate, David de Gea has been urged to return by Manchester United supporters.
As he looks for a new team, the goalie posed for a picture with Bruno Fernandes.

Additionally, Fernandes shared this photo with Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, Tom Heaton, and De Gea.
Since leaving United when his contract expired in the summer, De Gea has not had a job.
He also made a trip back to United earlier this month to watch the women’s team play, all in an attempt to tease supporters with a possible comeback in recent weeks.
The Spaniard had returned to the city to tidy up his residence, and while he was there, he also had a meeting with Sergio Reguilon, the current Red Devil.
After De Gea posted a selfie with Fernandes, supporters are now clamoring for him to make a second appearance.
De Gea and Fernandes posted a photo of themselves wearing the Rebels Gaming eSports team’s colors on X, the former Twitter.
In 2021, De Gea established the team; thereafter, Fernandes and Juan Mata became shareholders.
“Together again,” De Gea commented next to the photo.
His return was immediately demanded by supporters, one of whom remarked, “Get back to the team.” There are plenty of obstacles on our way.
“Manchester United needs you, bro,” another person said.
Bring him back, another fan stated in their comment.
Fernandes also posted a picture of the two, together with teammates Tom Heaton, Raphael Varane, and Victor Lindelof, hooking up on Instagram.
De Gea expressed his affection in the comments area by writing the word “Brothers.”
Since leaving United, De Gea has so far been unable to find a new team, and at only 32 years old, he has apparently even contemplated retiring.
He made 545 appearances and amassed eight significant trophies during his twelve years at Old Trafford, including a league title and the Europa League.
After departing Manchester United in the summer, De Gea is still an unsigned free agent.
