Fans made fun of Andre Onana after they said the Manchester United goalkeeper was to blame for Senegal’s first goal in their 3-1 AFCON win.

People called Onana “born to give up goals” after he threw a punch at the wrong time and was stuck when Ismaila Sarr scored from close range.

The under-fire Old Trafford No. 1 hasn’t had much luck lately, even though he’s worked very hard to do his best for both club and country.

Onana, who is 27 years old, rushed to the airport after leaving United’s home draw with Tottenham last Sunday, 2-2.

But bad weather kept his private jet from taking off, so he missed Cameroon’s first game in the Africa Cup of Nations, a 1-1 draw with Guinea on Monday.

And things got worse for United’s new player on Friday night.

He could only jab the ball away after only 16 minutes against Senegal, which let Sarr turn and shoot home through a busy penalty box.

Onana may not have had a clear view of the shot, but one fan said, “This is the very definition of being addicted to giving up goals.”

Someone else said: “Onana has just let a goal in…some things never change.” 

One reviewer called the stopper a “mannequin” because his feet looked like they were stuck when Sarr turned to shoot.

“Does Onana dive for anything?” was another similar question. And “Not like Onana not to move….”

Many United fans don’t think the £47 million he cost was worth it since the Red Devils are seventh in the Premier League and have given up 29 goals in 21 games.

Someone said: “I had enough of Onana in the last 10 games, truth be told we made a mistake of a signing.”

But there are people who back the former Inter Milan star. One of them said, “It’s not his fault; it’s the defenders.”

After two AFCON group games, Cameroon only has one point. One fan joked, “Onana will take a quick flight back to England.”

After Marseille left Sarr’s precise cross in the 71st minute, Habib Diallo doubled Senegal’s lead.

Cameroon got back into the game with a goal from Jean-Charles Castelletto, but they missed two clear chances to tie the game.

Idrissa Gueye, on the other hand, broke free and set up Sadio Mane, a former Liverpool striker, for the game-winning goal deep into extra time.
