Carlo Ancelotti, the Italian coach, became popular for a short time today during El Clasico. He showed his usual calm demeanor on the Real Madrid sidelines against Barcelona at Camp Nou twice.

Ilkay Gundogan gave the home team the lead, but Ancelotti kept his plans secret and brought on Jude Bellingham. The replacement scored twice late in the game to give the visitors a 2-1 win.

A video of Ancelotti calmly chewing his gum during the first half went viral on social media. In the video, fitness teacher and fellow Italian Francesco Mauri yelled and made gestures at him.

Lots of Real Madrid fans shared the video and said they felt like Mauri at that moment, telling Ancelotti to change things.Vinicius Junior had been teasing the other team the whole game, but it took him a long time to leave the field when he was replaced. That calmness came in handy during set pieces.

Ancelotti saw that this could lead to trouble, so he grabbed Vinicius by the arm and quickly led him back to the bench.People said it was like a dad having enough of a bad kid or a dog trainer with a grumpy puppy.

When Bellingham scored the winning goal, the Ancelotti chill was also clear to see. You wouldn’t know it from the way he stood there, though.
