Popular streamer IShowSpeed made a hilarious joke at Manchester City star Erling Haaland during today’s, October 30, 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony.

The prestigious award’s 67th annual ceremony is currently happening at Paris, France’s Theatre du Chatelet. The world’s best football player from the 2022-23 season will be crowned with Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland the favorites to win the prestigious award.

Speed was one of the first celebrities on the red carpet for the event in the French capital

IShowSpeed arrived at the ceremony, streaming the event for his audience of over 21 million subscribers on YouTube. His comedic antics have already garnered well over 500,000 live viewers.

The internet personality encountered Haaland and eagerly went over to greet the 23-year-old forward. However, Speed questioned the latter’s hairstyle before barking in the vicinity of all the guests.

‘Let’s go, brother!’ he said as the pair shook hands, to which Haaland responded: ‘How are you my friend?’

‘Nice to meet you finally bro!’ Speed replied.

Haaland quickly changed the tune of the conversation, however, assessing Speed’s outfit choice.

‘What’s with the shoes, man?’ he said

Speed replying: ‘What’s up with your hair bro?’

‘It’s nice,’ Haaland responded.  ‘You don’t like it?’

After exchanging goodbyes and taking a picture, Speed sang the Manchester City forward’s name as he left.
