As Mo Salah joins the Egyptian National team for the AFCON, he has a new haircut. He will be out of the Liverpool team for some time.
Mo Salah has now formally left Liverpool. He is associated with the Egyptian national team in anticipation of their AFCON trophy competition.
It is, of course, one that Salah values greatly. In a penalty shootout against Senegal, he made it to the very end but lost on the final attempt. Salah was not even allowed to take his spot-kick in the shootout, despite being scheduled to go fifth.
The Liverpool player is therefore prepared to perform even better this time. As evidenced by a recent Twitter post by Egypt, he has even adopted a new hairdo to better represent his national side.
The tournament will then have a new look as Salah tries to add another trophy to his resume, one that would probably mean the world to him.
Liverpool is undoubtedly worried about Salah’s absence. The winger is without a doubt their most significant forward and has been their finest player thus far this season.
Salah actually had an incredible 2023 and was especially noteworthy throughout the first half of this season. Additionally, Liverpool does not have a clear substitute for him on the right wing, so they will have to make some adjustments to make up for his absence.
Jurgen Klopp and company have looked at four potential options to fill in for him, but it won’t be easy. or foreseeable, in any case.
Salah isn’t even the only first-team member of Liverpool who is now not with the team. Wataru Endo, who won Liverpool’s December Player of the Month title, has joined up with Japan to compete in the Asian Cup this month. Endo has been an important player for Liverpool over the last month.
