The first game of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will take place next week at the Allianz Arena.
Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala, two of the most exciting young midfielders, will be going up against each other in this match between two of Europe’s biggest teams.
Muskiala and Bellingham are good friends because they played together on the England youth teams and then played against each other in the Bundesliga when Bellingham was at Borussia Dortmund.
As the two players get ready to play each other next week, Musiala had nice things to say about Bellingham. He said that the Real Madrid star is always up for a fight.
For many years, Jude and I played together on the Young Lions (England’s youth team). We played a few games together and have been good friends ever since Musiala told SportBILD (h/t AS).
“I’m glad things are going so well for him.” The German player also said, “He’s very sure of himself and doesn’t mind taking on big challenges.”
While giving Bellingham even more credit for his great start at Real Madrid this season, Musiala said:
“Of course, Bellingham’s start with Real Madrid is not typical. Usually, a new player on a team in a different country has to get used to things, but it didn’t surprise me much because I know how Jude thinks.
Interestingly, Musiala has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for 2025. His deal at Bayern Munich ends in 2026.
There are still rumors, but the young German attacking player talked about how excited he was to play against Real Madrid in the Champions League and at the Santiago Bernabeu.
I am very excited for the game against Real Madrid and the famous Santiago Bernabeu. There will be a game between two of Europe’s best teams. Muskiela said, “These are big games.”
