Marcus Rashford was happy as he trained with his Manchester United teammates on Tuesday. He wants to get past a rough week.

The star player for United and England laughed with his teammates at Carrington as he trained with the group after getting over an injury that kept him out of the win over Fulham.

His return comes after a rough week in which he upset boss Erik ten Hag by going out to a club just hours after United lost the Manchester derby to City. The Dutchman said the 26-year-old’s choice was “unacceptable,” but he also said Rashford had said sorry for the mistake and the problem was now fixed.

A video that went viral of him not greeting fans at the train station as Manchester United players started their trip to London for the game at Craven Cottage also got him in trouble with fans. United beat Fulham 1-0 on Saturday, but Rashford didn’t play because Ten Hag said before the game that the England star had a small injury. 

The forward also got a lot of bad feedback because his play has gotten worse this season. He had to answer a United fan channel’s questions about his future at the club. A popular United fan channel called The United Stand then put out a film on Monday called “Rashford’s future in doubt?” 

Rashford did not like the video, so he replied on X, saying, “Please STOP spreading these false rumors.”In the YouTube introduction of their video, the United Stand said, “Given Rashford’s injury against Fulham and his recent poor play, the question arises: should he still be a regular starter for Manchester United?”

Rashford went to the Fulham game with the team, even though he had been in trouble just a few days before for enjoying his 26th birthday in Manchester’s city center.

In the film, Faz from the United Stand said, “He traveled with the team but wasn’t used (against Fulham).” I find it very interesting that they would journey all the way to Fulham with the team but not be used. I’m not buying it.

‘I think it might have been a way for Erik ten Hag to punish them,’ he said. Marcus Rashford doesn’t look happy when he’s going to games right now, as everyone agrees.

After getting smashed in the Manchester derby, Rashford came off the bench in the next game, a 3-0 loss to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.

Rashford has been quiet since that thing came to light. He didn’t go out with the players after their win over Fulham over the weekend. 

Even though people outside of the club are worried about his form, Ten Hag told MUTV that he is “sure that he will be back on track.” 

He also said, “I see him doing so well in training, so I think he will be back on track soon.” He’ll help us reach a lot of our goals, and he’ll be very important to us. It will be easier for him once we and the team find our groove.

Rashford has only scored once in 14 games across all categories so far, which is very different from the 30 goals he scored for his old club during Ten Hag’s first season at Old Trafford.

Along with Rashford’s return, Victor Lindelof was also seen working with the team after getting over an illness. They are getting ready for their trip to Denmark to play Copenhagen again in the Champions League.

United is in third place in Group A with three points after three games. They are only one point behind second-place Galatasaray.

All three of Bayern Munich’s first group-stage games were wins, putting them on top of the group.
