The team’s coach, Xavi Hernández, has announced his starting lineup for the third match of the Champions League group stage.

FC Barcelona will play Champions League action against Shakhtar Donetsk at the Estadi Olmpic Llus Companies on Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. CEST. After winning two games in a row against FC Porto and Antwerp, the blaugranes will be looking to maintain their pristine record in group H. 

Ter Stegen, João Cancelo, Balde, R. Araujo, I. Martínez, Ferran, Iñaki Peña, João Félix, Christensen, Marcos A., Romeu, Gündoğan, Astralaga, Lamine Yamal, M. Casadó, Fermín, Cubarsí, Aleix Garrido, Marc Guiu, and H. Fort are the players on Xavi Hernández’s squad for the visit of the Ukrainian side on Tuesday.

Lewandowski, Pedri, Raphinha, Kounde, Sergi Roberto, and Frenkie de Jong are all still sidelined by injuries.

This will be the last Ciutat Esportiva session. 

Before playing Shakhtar, the team held its final practice in the Ciutat Esportiva on Tuesday. Along with the remainder of the first-string, Astralaga, H. Fort, Cubars, M. Casadó, Aleix Garrido, and Marc Guiu took part.
