As they took over The Bagelry, three Liverpool FC players made an attempt at a new career. On Tuesday, November 28, defender Ibrahima Konaté and midfielders Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch went to the eatery on Nelson Street to give it a try. To support the small business, the players prepared free donuts and bagels and distributed them to others.
Every participant aimed to determine which of their delicious treats would be the most well-liked by onlookers. The company had advertised the “VIPs” on its Instagram page earlier that day, and people flocked outside the store to have a look.
Inside the café, players could be seen interacting with patrons and posing for photos with children who were successful in getting a high five from their favorite team members. As part of Liverpool FC’s ongoing relationship with VistaPrint, the three players switched jobs. As part of the “working experiences” concept, the corporation provided £3,000 to assist the Nelson Street venue in raising money for new kitchen equipment.

With the help of player appearances and financial support from the print and design platform, the project highlights small local retailers.”We were so happy when LFC approached us to be part of the Work Experience initiative,” stated Sam Stonehouse, co-owner of The Bagelry.
We adore our company, and this is such a wonderful venue to highlight our amazing staff and our just made goods.”Vistaprint has been incredibly kind to us throughout the process, donating money to support our efforts to make improvements to the shop. It was a calm Tuesday afternoon and meeting the players brought a boisterous crowd to the shop. It was a lot of fun.
“This has been a boss experience all round. Thanks everyone.”
