Mason Greenwood – a former MU player just scored a super goal that opened Getafe’s successful comeback to defeat Almeria 2-1, in round 14 of La Liga

Only had to welcome the bottom-ranked team in round 14 of La Liga, but Getafe conceded first in the 7th minute, after Ramazani’s goal.

In the 33rd minute, rookie Mason Greenwood shined with a dribble and a shot with his left foot from outside the penalty area.

The ball was stuck at the far corner, causing Almeria’s goalkeeper to fly as far as he could but couldn’t stop it

Since joining Getafe, the former MU midfielder has made 11 appearances, scoring 4 goals and 3 assists.

Greenwood’s goal added momentum to the end of the first half. Mayoral put his name on the scoreboard to help Getafe take the lead again 2-1.

This was also the final goal, Getafe won all 3 points to maintain its position in the top 8 with 19 points.
