Mo Salah, the Egyptian King of Liverpool, is the first hero in a new series called “A Hero’s Journey,” which is a collaboration between Gucci and GQ Sports.

Mo Salah is just one of those charming football players, full of talent and a contagious smile. He previously worked with GQ, having been featured on its cover in February of this year. He is now back working on a project overseen by GQ, but Gucci is also involved for a new series called “A Hero’s Journey” that will examine the lives of contemporary sports legends.

This short look inside Mo Salah’s life covers on issues like what he considers to be “home,” the difficulties he faces assimilating into new cultures, and his personal priorities. In front of flashing cameras and inquisitive reporters, the Egyptian, dressed in an adidas x Gucci suit, exhibits his customary humble and carefree attitude.

“I simply strive to always be joyful and constantly work on changing my perspective so that you can be content and appreciative of all that you have,” Salah states. “I just try to enjoy it and feel blessed to be where I am.”
