What does Lucas Chevalier do?Once he made it to the first team at LOSC Lille, Lucas Chevalier quickly became one of the best goalkeepers in Ligue 1. The French player is from Calais and started playing soccer as a child at SC Coquelles. He then played for a few years at AS Marck and finished his career at LOSC Lille after passing from the youth division.

Before he could join LOSC Lille’s first team, the 22-year-old had to wait until the 2022โ€“23 season started. Since then, he hasn’t looked back. Chevalier has always been in goal for Les Dogues. He has played almost 100 times for the Ligue 1 club so far, keeping 36 clean sheets and letting 88 goals in. He became famous not long ago after a great game in the UEFA Champions League against Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Lucas Chevalier’s progress at Stade Pierre-Mauroy has not gone unnoticed. A number of well-known teams in Europe, especially those in the Premier League, are interested in him. Recent rumors say that the French goalie is interested in joining Manchester City. Real Madrid is also thought to be interested in signing him.

A man in demand: It makes sense for Manchester City to be interested in Lucas Chevalier. The winners of the Premier League are worried about what will happen with Stefan Ortega and Ederson Moraes. The first one is willing to leave Manchester City for a new adventure next year, while the second one is wanted by both Paris Saint-Germain and Saudi Pro League teams. In this case, Chevalier is a good long-term choice.

Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin could leave the Santiago Bernabeu next year to find better opportunities elsewhere. Even though the Ukrainian player signed a new deal with Real Madrid, no one knows what will happen to him in the long run. So, the current La Liga winners could go after Chevalier.

Also, the French player might not be cheap since he still has almost three years left on his deal with LOSC Lille. In the coming months, it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid or Manchester City can get the 22-year-old goalie to sign with them.
