Hala Madrid! Real Madrid were crowned LaLiga CHAMPIONS following Barcelona’s 4-2 defeat at Girona, handing their opponents a record-extending 36th league title

Real Madrid won La Liga because Barcelona couldn’t beat Girona.

With a 3-0 win on Saturday, Ancelotti’s team moved thirteen points ahead of Cadiz at the top of the table. The win was sealed by goals from Brahmin Diaz, Jude Bellingham, and Joselu.

Real now has 87 points, 14 more than Barcelona in second place and 16 more than Girona in third. They have four more games to play.

Ten changes were made to the Real Madrid team that played Bayern Munich on Tuesday and tied 2-2. Before Wednesday’s return leg in Madrid, he gave key players like Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Antonio Ruediger, and Toni Kroos a break.

Ancelotti’s backup players proved they were up to the task by getting three points for Real and keeping them on track for the parties that will happen when they win La Liga.

Thibaut Courtois started in goal for the first time since August, when he tore his ACL and missed most of the season.

Real almost fell behind after the break. Chris Ramos hit the ball straight at Courtois in the 50th minute, but Courtois made a great save to stop it.

After the Belgium goalkeeper’s shot, Real went on the attack right away. In the 51st minute, Luka Modric found Diaz running up the left side of the field. The Moroccan player scored with a perfect curling shot from the edge of the box.

In the 68th minute, Diaz set up Bellingham’s goal, which he scored with a nice finish from close range. Following a raid led by Real captain Nacho that left the goal mouth open in extra time, Joselu scored.

Movistar Plus+ heard Joselu say, “These are special times.”

“The season is almost over, and we hope everything goes well for all of our fans.” “We’ll forget about what happened today and do everything we can to give our fans a great win against Bayern on Wednesday.”

The 36th league title won by Real Madrid is a club record. It is also Ancelotti’s second win as Real Madrid boss.

They shared a video of their team cheering “campeones, campeones, ole ole ole” behind closed doors because they couldn’t party with their fans right away on the field.

After the game, rivals Barcelona had to send a short message on X, the social media site that used to be called Twitter, to say hello.

Because Real beat their Catalan rivals, Barcelona had to beat them to have a chance to pass them and take the top spot.

At the Estadi Montilivi, Xavi’s team got off to a great start even though it was hot. Third minute, Andreas Christensen scored the first goal.

Girona has often played better than their level this season as a team. When the City Football Group team fell behind, they quickly tied the game with Artem Dovbyk.

As the half was ending, Robert Lewandowski scored from the penalty spot to put Barcelona back ahead. In all, this gave the team 24 goals for the season.

But after the break, the home team took the lead right away. In the next ten minutes, they scored three goals, ending their opponents’ title hopes for good.

After coming on as a replacement, Portu scored to tie the game. Then, Miguel Gutierrez tried to put his team ahead with a close-range shot that was blocked.

Portu scored twice in the game with a great shot from the edge of the box that made the score clear.

“This makes me feel so good when I look at your shirt.” Portu told DAZN, “There is nothing more beautiful than living this moment.”

“This club was a real pain.” Many years ago, I went through the other side, which was being pushed down. I felt awful for playing so much. Today I made things right with the fans, and now I feel good.
