“I see him very calm,” Xavi told the press not long ago. Even though he is young, he is very measured in the sense that he is taking everything that is happening to him very well. Yomal has played in all but one of Barcelona’s 30 La Liga games so far this season, even though he is old. With six goals and seven assists across all tournaments, he has been involved in 13 goals, which is only a few less than much more experienced and well-known players like Joao Felix (15), Ferran Torres (15), and Raphinha (16). That being said, only Felix, Torres, and Robert Lewandowski have scored more goals this year.

Before he became an international player for Spain and has since made six senior starts for La Roja, Yamal could have played for either Morocco or Equatorial Guinea because of his parents.
