After collecting the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or ceremony, Jude Bellingham received a really insightful note from Bayern Munich forward and childhood friend Jamal Musiala.
Bellingham, 20, of Real Madrid and England, accepted the trophy for the world’s greatest young player on Monday night in Paris.

Musiala sent a wonderful recorded message to Bellingham
It follows an incredible season for Borussia Dortmund and an incredible beginning to his tenure at the Bernabeu.
Musiala, 20, came in second in the poll, Bellingham was informed after accepting the medal.
And when it came to a player he played alongside for England as a young lad, the Los Blancos great had nothing but positive things to say.
Bellingham stated: “It’s amazing since he’s one of my greatest football friends and we were teammates with England two or three years ago—possibly a little longer.
“I’m very proud of him, and I’ll stay in touch to find out how he’s doing.” A terrific young man and athlete.”
After that, the broadcast switched to a prerecorded greeting from Musiala congratulating Bellingham.
“Hello Jude, I wanted to send you congratulations on your achievement but I could not make it to Paris tonight due to our upcoming game,” he stated. deservedly so.
“We both recall being roommates at England not so long ago. Now, you play for Real Madrid and I play for Bayern. It seems absurd when you consider it.

Bellingham smiled throughout the video message, and when an old photo of the two wearing jerseys from England appeared on the screen, he politely replied to Musiala’s remarks.
When asked what feelings the picture makes him feel, he replied, “To be honest, I’m more concerned with my hair.
“A wonderful person, nonetheless. What a gentleman to leave a message there. Best wishes to him.
“I’m always wishing him the best and he knows how much I love him and how much respect I’ve got for him.”
Before Musiala turned German, Bellingham and him played together at the age group level.
Since making his senior debut in 2021, Musiala has earned 25 caps.
As for Bellingham, since earning his first cap in 2020, he has made 27 appearances for England.
Additionally, both players have made a strong start to the season with their respective teams.
In 11 appearances for Bayern, Musiala has four goals and three assists.
However, Bellingham has elevated his game to a whole new level, tallying 13 goals and dishing out three assists in just 13 games.
And on Saturday, he scored a fantastic brace in the El Clasico to help Real Madrid defeat rivals Barcelona 2-1 on the road.
