The Spanish football player first tried to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu because several stories said that Madrid had decided to sign the striker on a permanent deal from Espanyol.

But with the arrival of Kylian Mbappe and the battle from Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, two forwards for Real Madrid, Joselu is worried that he will not get as much playing time.

Qatar comes in 10th place at the Beach Handball World Championship.

The 34-year-old Spanish player joined Madrid on loan last summer for a fee of $548,000. At the end of the 2023–24 season, Madrid could pay $1.6 million to make the deal official.

At age 20, Joselu joined Real Madrid’s youth school. He played for two years with the reserve team Castilla before making his debut for the Spanish giants’ first team in 2011.

Even though Joselu is an experienced player, he scored 17 goals and set up three others last season while starting 18 games in all categories.

Nacho Fernandez, Madrid’s leader, may also be leaving at the same time as Joselu.

The defender’s deal ends at the end of June, and he is likely to join the Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah.

The final word on Joselu’s signing from Al Gharafa has not been made public yet.

The Qatari Team, which came in third place in the QSL, will train in Slovakia from July 16 to August 1 before the season starts.

Fabricio Diaz, a star player for Liverpool Montevideo, agreed to move to Al Gharafa in September, even though Barcelona and Brighton were also interested in him.
