Liverpool agreed the signing of Federico Chiesa from Juventus for £10m with £2.5m in add-ons.

The 26-year-old landed at Liverpool John Lennon Airport around 4.30pm on Wednesday before undergoing a medical ahead of signing a four-year contract.

Initially, Chiesa was not a regular starter for the Azzurri, with manager Roberto Mancini opting for other attacking options in the group stages.

However, his impact off the bench was undeniable, and he gradually forced his way into the starting eleven as the tournament progressed.

Throughout the final at Wembley, Chiesa was a constant menace down the right flank, showing no fear against England’s defenders.

He frequently did so alone, but his ability to move the ball forward eased pressure on the Italian defense and opened doors for his teammates.

In the 35th minute, he took on multiple England players before launching a strong effort that just missed the mark. It was one of his most memorable moments.

Sadly, Chiesa’s night came to an end in the 86th minute of the match as an injury forced him off the field.
