The bulk of the game, Liverpool’s No. 66, who was used in a midfield role, scored his country’s second goal in a 3-0 victory with a skillfully executed low volley from inside the box.

Later in the game, Alexander-Arnold switched to right-back and finished from a close range. In minute 85, Jack Grealish’s pass into the area set up Alexander-Arnold for a brilliant first-time goal.

In addition, Joe Gomez played the last 17 minutes of the game; Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones, two other Reds, did not enter as substitutes.
Following an effort by Alexander-Arnold and a penalty kick by Cole Palmer in the second half, Harry Kane completed the scoring in the last minute. Gareth Southgate’s team triumphed, setting up a final warm-up match between Iceland and England on June 7 at Wembley before Euro 2024.
Earlier in the day, Andy Robertson played the whole sixty-six minutes as Scotland defeated Gibraltar 2-0 in a friendly match played in Portugal.
The Reds full-back was instrumental in setting up Ryan Christie’s opening goal, cutting the ball in from the left wing before the strike. Che Adams then added the last goal to round out the scoring for Steve Clarke’s team.
A second pre-Euro friendly between Finland and Scotland is scheduled for June 7 at Glasgow’s Hampden Park.
