FANS have slammed “incompetent” Manchester United for being unable to sell Rasmus Hojlund shirts for over a month.
That’s because the Red Devils struggled to get a special Danish letter in stock.
Man Utd weren’t able to sell Rasmus Hojlund shirts for more than a month after his arrival
The Red Devils only got the Danish ‘øs’ in stock this week
Hojlund, 21, moved from Atalanta to United last month for a cost of £72 million.
He just made his debut in the 3-1 loss to Arsenal last weekend due to fitness difficulties.
And with the Red Devils aiming to finally mount a title challenge, huge things are anticipated of United’s newest striker.
But until Thursday, supporters couldn’t purchase Hojlund’s customized jersey from the club shop.
And the Mail claims it was due to United not having the Danish ‘ø’ in stock.
An order of the special letters arrived this week, allowing Hojlund shirts to finally go on sale more than a month after he signed.
And fans eager to get their hands on a replica have slammed United’s “incompetence.”
One told the Mail Online: “It’s incompetence. The big summer signing and you still can’t get a shirt with his name on it because nobody saw fit to get the Danish ‘ø’ delivered.
“It’s indicative of a business that is a shambles even in the most basic ways.”
.
Purchasing a Hojlund shirt with your own design from United’s official club shop is not inexpensive.
Fans must pay £95 for a standard replica, or “stadium” jersey.
Additionally, a top that is “authentic,” meaning the identical one the players wear, costs £125.
