Following house invasion where burglars took £100,000 of jewellery and clothing, England football player Jesse Lingard sold his five-bedroom mansion for £3.25million.
During their break-in at his posh Bowdon, Greater Manchester, where the average house price is almost £900,000, criminals stole jewellery, clothing, and other valuables.
prior to the January 19 Red Devils game against Brentford, burglars stole former Manchester United teammate Victor Lindelof.
One source told The Sun: “He simply wants to get rid of it following the break-in. He adored the house but, given his small daughter, he felt unsafe afterwards.
In an MTV Cribs programme, he flaunted his opulent five-bedroom property and guided the cameras to his dressing room, where his clothing, 28 caps and 96 pairs of trainers are kept. The epidemic is raging.

Lingard talked through the importance of the room, explaining how looking at the caps each morning puts him in a positive mood for the start of the day.
Lingard shows cameras around his home, he says: “My most prized possessions.
“My clothes, my trainers, my England caps.
“I like to come in here every morning when I get changed look at my caps.
“Start the day off right.
“Puts me in a positive mindset for the day.
He boasted of an impressive wardrobe full of designer clothes including suits and a henley jacket.
The mansion was complete with a swimming pool, cinema room and an impressive outdoor play area for his one-year-old daughter which includes a climbing frame and swing.
The footballer used the goal in his garden to practice during lockdown .
