Real Madrid stars from the past and present live the high life in La Finca, which is watched over by security guards and infrared cameras 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Another famous person to buy a home in Madrid’s Beverley Hills is Kylian Mbappe, who just joined Real Madrid.
Mbappe has moved into a fancy £9 million home that Gareth Bale used to own.
The new neighborhood is in the Pozuelo de Alarcon area, which is west of the city.
Former Real Madrid players like Zinedine Zidane, Iker Casillas, and Cristiano Ronaldo have all owned homes in the nice neighborhood.
La Finca is the best place for a modern Madrid star to hide from the public eye because it is gated and has security guards on duty 24 hours a day.
The area is protected by a huge fence, bunker-style guard houses, and gates. Infrared cameras also keep an eye on things.
You can only get into La Finca if someone who lives there invites you.
“People can go for a run and nobody can even get close to them,” a real estate agent told The Athletic.
“The worst that can happen is they trip over a rabbit.”
The 25-year-old Mbappe is now one of the best-paid players in the world after moving from Paris to Madrid.
And he bought an eight-bedroom house that used to belong to former Real Madrid winger Bale with his first paycheck.
It had been on the market for two years after the Welshman moved to Los Angeles. The 8-bedroom house has its own golf putting green.
It has a big swimming pool, a movie theater, a mini-football field, and a basketball court.
La Finca, which has quickly become a place for Madrid’s rich to get away from city life, has a lot of properties like this one.
The architect who made the house, Joaquin Torres, told The Athletic, “It has bright open spaces, good build quality, and a lot of care with the details.”
“La Finca makes [footballers] feel secure – they buy luxury brand watches and cars, so obviously it’s the same in real estate.”
Three different places make up La Finca, which is spread out over 100 large hectares.
Within the residential area, there are 17 man-made lakes surrounded by pine woods.
Mbappe’s new home is in Los Lagos I, which is the most exclusive of the three areas.
Just down the street from him, Jude Bellingham lives with his mom Denise.
While Toni Kroos and Eden Hazard, both of whom used to play for Madrid, are only minutes away.
The David Lloyd health club is right there, and it has a beautiful gym, swimming pools, rock climbing walls, and tennis courts.
Another thing that La Finca has is a golf course, just in case the Frenchman gets bored with his own yard.
Former Real Madrid star Jese Rodriguez lived in La Finca. In 2014, there was a fire at his home that made the news.
The area has become more famous since the fire, especially among players for Spain’s biggest club, despite the bad news that came with it.
Someone in the real estate business told The Atletic, “Athletes are great at selling sports gear, but not at selling homes.”
“La Finca is a paradise and we want it to remain a paradise.”
