Portugal’s lusa 2024 European debut saw them defeat the Czech Republic 2-1.

In Group F of the group stage, the national team defeated the Czech Republic by a score of two goals to one, earning a spot in the 2024 European Championship.

Only in the second half of the match did the Czech Republic score, thanks to a goal by Provod in the 62nd minute.

The game would be over shortly after in the 69th minute by another goal by Hraná č. Diogo Jota scored in the 86th minute, however the goal was not recognised.

Francisco Conceição bottomed the beacon and won for the national team at 90+2, just in time for compensation.
