Jadon Sancho is helping to create a whole new wave of football talent back home in South London.
The 23-year-old from Kennington has linked up with Nike to build a new football pitch exclusively for SE11’s young ballers, giving back to the community that raised him and set him on his way to becoming one of Europe’s brightest talents.
The brand new pitch will be home to Lambeth Tigers, a football club for young people aged 6 to 18. The organization was founded by David Marriott and Jamahl Jarrett and is committed to helping kids in South London access football. The pitch will be used all year and provide regular opportunities to more than 300 young players in the community through coaching, workshops, and training.
The pitch has been designed with black and orange turf to represent the club colors of Lambeth Tigers, while Jadon Sancho’s ‘JS’ logo adorns the center circle.

Speaking on the partnership and the decision to give back to South London like this, Jadon Sancho said:
“Growing up in Kennington has made me the man I am today; I owe a lot to South London for nurturing the way I play. I hope the local kids feel empowered to tell their own stories through football and follow in my footsteps — this pitch being just the ignition point.”
Jadon Sancho is an inspiration on and off the pitch.
