Real Madrid and Union Berlin will play each other on Tuesday night at the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei. Both teams are trying to get all three points on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Real Betis held Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw not long ago, so Los Blancos would like to get back to winning ways this week.
Ancelotti will put his team together in a 4-2-3-1 shape, and he may make a lot of changes to the starting eleven for this game. In the final third, Joselu is likely to lead the line for Real Madrid.
Andriy Lunin will play goal for Real Madrid, and he will try to keep the scoreless on the road. David Alaba and Nacho could play together in the middle of Ancelotti’s defense to try to make the home team unhappy for the whole game.
Lucas Vazquez could keep his spot as right back, and Fran Garcia would get a chance to show what he can do as left back. That means that both of them will be free to move forward and fight when they can.
Antonio Rudiger will fill in at defensive spots while sitting on the bench.
In the middle
As they try to win the 50/50 balls in the middle of the field, Nico Paz and Dani Ceballos will play as holding midfielders. As part of Ancelotti’s attack, the three bright players Jude Bellingham, Luka Modric, and Brahim Diaz might get a chance to play just ahead of them. They must all be good at moving the ball if they want Real Madrid to have enough chances to win this game.
Toni Kroos will sit on the bench, but Ancelotti could bring him on into the game in the second half to make a difference.
Launch an attack
Joselu will lead Real Madrid’s attack from the front on his own. He needs to come up with a way to make things hard for the other team’s guards during the game.
Rodrygo will sit on the bench for the rest of the game while he waits for his chance to shine in the second half if needed.
