In the stands on Christmas Day, JUDE BELLINGHAM watched his brother Jobe play for Sunderland against Hull.
The twenty-year-old talent from Real Madrid is enjoying the winter break in Spain after his team beat Alaves 1-0 on Thursday.
After a two-week break, Real Madrid will play again on January 3 at home against Mallorca.
Jude is also back in England for some of the holiday season. He was in the stands at the MKM Stadium in Hull.
Brother Jobe, who is 18, moved to Sunderland in the summer after his brother left Birmingham.
Mark, Jobe’s dad, lives with him in Sunderland, while Jude’s mum, Denise, is in Spain with them. Jude also went to Sunderland’s 3-0 loss to Coventry before Christmas.
The Championship player has had a great start to life in the North East, helping the Black Cats score four goals and setting up one more.
People even said he should move to Real Madrid, where Jude is having a great season.
For the game against Hull, Jobe played in his usual No. 10 spot. Sunderland started the day in ninth place, three points behind the play-offs under new boss Michael Beale.
He helped them win 1-0, which put them in sixth place.
Jude has started his life in the Spanish city in style. He wore a gilet to the game and what looked like a Sunderland scarf.
In 21 games for the 14-time European winners, he has scored 17 goals and set up 5 others.
Many people now think that Jude is one of the best players in the world, right up there with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
Because Lucas Vazquez scored in extra time in Real Madrid’s late win over Alaves, they moved ahead of Girona at the top of the La Liga table.
They also made it to the round of 16 in the Champions League by winning all of their games in the group stage.
