It was history on Sunday night when Jude Bellingham broke a Real Madrid record that had been held for a long time by Cristiano Ronaldo. 

The player from the Birmingham City school scored a goal in Madrid’s 3-0 win over Cadiz to mark his return to the team after hurting his shoulder. 

In the 74th minute, Bellingham smashed the ball into the back of the net after Brazilian winger Rodrygo did some nice work setting up the play. 

The 20-year-old scored his 11th league goal and 14th goal in all competitions since joining Borussia Dortmund for £113 million in the summer. 

The England star will be thrilled with his strong start, but he’ll be even happier when he learns that he broke a record on Sunday. 

When Bellingham scored his 14th goal for Madrid, he passed football legend Ronaldo as the player with the most goals in their first 15 games for the club. 

Before, the Al-Nassr forward held the record with 13 goals, tied with Alfredo Di Stéfano, another great player from the club. 

It’s the latest amazing thing the young player has done. He just made history by winning the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or awards. 

Mail Sport reported that Louis Vuitton wants to sign Bellingham to a multimillion-pound endorsement deal. This is the latest proof that the England player has become a sports superstar.

The high-end French fashion house only works with famous athletes. Before last year’s World Cup, they did an ad campaign with Lionel Messi and Cristiano, and before that, they did one with Pele, Diego Maradona, and Zinedine Zidane. Now, they want to work with the 20-year-old from Stourbridge.

Bellingham couldn’t play in Madrid’s recent Champions League wins over Valencia and Braga because he hurt his shoulder. 

The 20-year-old was called up by Gareth Southgate for England, but he had to go back to Madrid to keep getting fit before their Champions League games with Napoli and Cadiz after the international break.
