The two Madridistas have been named for the Laureus Breakthrough Athlete Award for 2024.

Jude Bellingham and Linda Caicedo have been put forward for the Laureus Award in the category of 2024 Laureus Breakthrough Athlete. Along with tennis player Coco Gauff, swimmer Qin Haiyang, middle-distance runner Josh Kerr, and FC Barcelona forward Salma Paralluelo, the two Real Madrid players are in the same group of finalists. 

The winners of the awards are chosen by a group of top sportspeople from around the world. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony on April 22 at the Cibeles Palace in Madrid.
