Jude Bellingham, a star player for Real Madrid, added another page to the club’s past this evening.
Real is, of course, stuck in a La Liga match right now.
Alavés has arrived in the Spanish city, but Carlo Ancelotti’s team has already clinched the Spanish top-flight title.
And, after what has been a smooth evening for Real Madrid so far, the aforementioned Bellingham has taken his place front and center once more.
The Englishman scored the first goal in Spain’s capital, putting a beautiful pass from Toni Kroos behind him and sending it into the far corner.
In the process, Bellingham made even more history for himself.
Opta statistics show that the 20-year-old has scored the fourth most league goals of any Real Madrid player in their first season in the 21st century.
Besides that, he has scored 19 goals, which is more than any other player on the list except for the famous trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Ronaldo Nazário.
