Greenwood’s shot hit the post, but it was the closest of the two to a goal.

Real Madrid beat Las Palmas 7-0 in February 2002, and Steve McManaman came off the bench for Real. That was the last time these two teams played.

Vinny Samways, on the other hand, was on the Las Palmas team.

Between 1999 and 2003, McManaman won eight titles with Real. He won the Champions League and La Liga twice.

For Samways, he used to play middle for Tottenham and also played for Las Palmas, Sevilla, and Algeciras in Spain.

In 1988, Gary Lineker and Sammy Lee also played in Spain. Osasuna beat Barcelona 1-0 at the Camp Nou.

Lineker led the line for Barcelona, and Lee, who played with Sam Allardyce, started for the away team 36 years ago.
