Kylian Mbappe, the star player at Real Madrid and the new number 9, led France against Italy in a UEFA Nations League group stage match. The former PSG player was the only Real Madrid player who played for France during this international break. Aurelien Tchouameni and Ferland Mendy both had to drop out at the last minute because they were hurt.

The 25-year-old forward played all 90 minutes. He looked good at the beginning of the game, but as it went on, so did his country’s performance. France was ahead after only 13 seconds, but they didn’t look very good after that. 

Federico Dimarco tied the game in the 30th minute, and Italy scored twice in the second half because France’s defense was so bad. France couldn’t get going after the goal. They had five shots in the second half, but only one went on target. Italy, on the other hand, had four on-target out of five shots, scoring two goals.

Mbappe only had two shots during the whole game, and only one of them went on target. He also didn’t seem to be doing much. He also wasn’t able to pose much of a threat with his dribbles during the game. On that bad night, he also couldn’t win many of his duels.

France’s next game is at home on Monday night against Belgium. They hope to get back on track after a rough start to the season that put them in third place in the group at the moment. Belgium is coming into this game after beating Israel 3-1, and they will want to keep their good form going.
