Not selected for France’s next two games, the French star posted a photo on Instagram showing him recently in Paris, with his friend and former PSG teammate Achraf Hakimi.
Two days after a quiet La Liga outing with Real Madrid against Osasuna (4-0), a match that did not erase any concerns about him, Kylian Mbappé has taken advantage of the international break to take a short detour through the capital. Not selected by Didier Deschamps for this week’s two Nations League games, against Israel on Thursday at the Stade de France and then on Sunday in Italy, the Blues captain was not present at Clairefontaine.
But these days are not far away. On social media, Kylian Mbappé appeared with a bright smile, along with his friend Achraf Hakimi and Arnau Tenas, PSG’s third goalkeeper. We see the Real Madrid striker showing his joy after a training match with his former PSG teammates.
It is difficult to know exactly when this reunion will take place, it could be Sunday or Monday. According to the Paris club, Achraf Hakimi was also in Casablanca this Monday to inaugurate the PSG academy in Morocco.
Kylian Mbappé also shared other photos on Instagram, where he is still seen with the Moroccan international. We see the two players holding a controller in their hands and playing a video game. A relaxing moment to forget the complicated start of the season, between problems with adapting to Madrid, two consecutive absences with the Blues, and the additional sports match in Sweden.
With the international break, Kylian Mbappé will not return to action until November 24 with a trip to Leganés, followed three days later by a Champions League showdown with current Premier League leaders Liverpool Reds.
