At a Madame Tussauds pop-up event in Paris on Thursday, Kylian Mbappe showed off a wax version of himself. He looked surprised by how much it looked like him.
Didier Deschamps named his France team for Euro 2024 earlier today. The World Cup winner will be in charge of his country’s team in Germany next month.
Before the news came out, Mbappe had to surprise everyone by pulling back the curtain on a real waxwork that will be displayed at Madame Tussauds Berlin.
While on stage at the pop-up event, Mbappe pushed a button that made a curtain drop over the figure. After that, he was shocked by how much the waxwork looked like him. It was wearing France’s home kit for the European Championships this summer.
L’Equipe says that the professional football player’s face and body were studied for four hours in order to catch his features. Mbappe later said, “It’s 100% me!”
