Didier Deschamps didn’t pick KYLIAN MBAPPE for France’s team.
The 25-year-old forward for Real Madrid will not be able to play for France when they play Israel and Belgium later this month.
During his team’s 3-2 win over Deportivo Alaves last month, Mbappe almost got hurt.
After feeling pain in his leg, he was taken off the pitch and tests showed that he would be out for three weeks.
The injured player from Paris Saint-Germain got better faster than expected and was deemed healthy enough to play 33 minutes off the bench last night in the Champions League against Lille.
Not even he could turn things around, though, as Real Madrid lost 1-0 to the Ligue 1 team that has Mbappe’s younger brother Ethan on their team.
Even though Kylian is back to full health, Deschamps has decided not to call him up.
Since leaving PSG for Madrid in the summer, Mbappe has played 10 times for Real Madrid.
He has scored seven goals for his new team so far, and he had scored in his last four games before he got hurt.
Aurelien Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga, two Real Madrid teammates of Mbappe, will join France after their team’s game against Villarreal this Saturday.

But Ferland Mendy wasn’t included.
Even though Mbappe won’t be there, Deschamps will still have a lot of good attackers to choose from.
The PSG midfielder Bradley Barcola, who is in good form, will play, as will Ousmane Dembele and Randal Kolo Muani, who are also on his club team.
Another star player from Bayern Munich is there: Michael Olise. Another player from Inter Milan is Marcus Thuram.
Christopher Nkunku, a great player for Chelsea, will be called up to his country again. He has only played 29 minutes for them since being ruled out of the 2022 World Cup just days before it started.
As well as Nkunku, William Saliba, Ibrahima Konate, Lucas Digne, and Wesley Fofana, all stars in the Premier League, have been called up.
