Getting behind seemed to be a wake-up call for Ancelotti’s team, and a little while later Vinicius Jr. tucked home from close range to square the score.

With only ten minutes of normal time remaining, Aurelian Tchouameni was brought on, and he made an immediate impression by leaping high to meet a corner taken by Toni Kroos and leading Real Madrid to their second consecutive La Liga comeback victory.

Los Blancos climb up to the top of La Liga with a victory, two points ahead of Girona; Barcelona, in third place, is ten points behind with a game remaining.
