Marcus Rashford, one of the most exciting young strikers in football, is launching his first performance and lifestyle line with Nike. This is their way of working together to help players and the future of the game.
Rashford hopes that the collection will encourage young people to believe in themselves, which is something that helped him go from being a poor kid in Manchester to becoming famous all over the world.
The things in the collection, in his opinion, are like tools that can take athletes to new heights.
Marcus said, “Just like on the field, every moment and detail counts, and I’m proud of how they came together in my first collection with Nike.” No matter how hard you work or how high your goals are, never give up on your self-belief.”
The range of shoes is dominated by silhouettes that are designed for performance and everyday life. The Mercurial Superfly family has designs on the field that look like sound waves, which is a nod to Marcus’s desire to inspire others, and a tonal gradient color scheme that was inspired by his playing boots.
The Nike Air Max Pulse is made with technical knits, leather that has been matte-finished, and a top that fades from light blue to clear. Some parts of the sneaker are unique, like the tongue with Marcus’s logo on it, but the top has some Mercurial design elements.
The sock liner says, “Great things can happen when you believe in yourself.” Some of the extra clothes are a limited-edition football, t-shirts, pants, and a woven tracksuit jacket.
The Marcus Rashford collection will be available on Nike.com and in a few shops starting October 31.
