‘No good culture’ – Legend Gary Neville sent five-word message as Erik ten Hag has lost 50% of Man Utd dressing room for De Gea, Sancho

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has reportedly lost 50% of the dressing room which has become disgruntled with his coaching methods.

The Red Devils have been woeful so far this season, losing six of 14 league games, 10 across competitions.

Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol reports that several United players are unhappy with Ten Hag’s style of play.

“My information, for what it’s worth, is that some players are confused about what is happening,” Solhekol said on Monday evening.

He added: “He has lost elements of the dressing room, one source telling me that he’s lost about 50% of the dressing room. Quite a few players are unhappy with the style of play. They also feel they are running too hard and they’re running too much during training.”

‘A few players think he’s too set in his ways, he’s too robotic. And quite a few players are unhappy with the way Jadon Sancho has been treated and feel it’s gone too far.’

Sancho has not played since his public fallout with Ten Hag in September when he hit back at the manager’s claims that the winger wasn’t training well enough to be selected.

Ten Hag is now taking a lot of flack as well, with his tactics and management style coming under a lot of scrutiny, in part due to the off-pitch drama involving Jadon Sancho and the cruel treatment with an important and loved player like De Gea

Some of the United squad have spoken to the Dutch coach about his management and how they’ve had success elsewhere. But, the former Ajax coach isn’t willing to change his approach to cater to his players.

These leaks always seem to emerge after a big defeat and Gary Neville has seemingly had enough.

Neville has taken to social media this evening in order to post just five words about these Ten Hag rumours.

‘Here we go. Groundhog Day,” said Neville, believing that it’s just more of the same from the United squad.

Neville has previously accused the United squad of getting managers sacked, specifically referring to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in this instance.

Tools appeared to be downed under Jose Mourinho, Ralf Rangnick never really seemed to get a tune out of the United side and now Ten Hag is allegedly losing the dressing room.

Ten Hag isn’t blameless here, far from it, but the United players surely have to consider if they might be the problem.

Mourinho, Rangnick and Ten Hag have all enjoyed success elsewhere and just months after winning the Carabao Cup, some United players seemingly want another managerial change.

We can only hope that some semblance of organisation arrives with Sir Jim Ratcliffe because this cycle simply cannot continue.

Ten Hag, whose future at Old Trafford is uncertain, is under even greater pressure as a result of this. At St. James’, his team lost 1-0 to Newcastle United over the weekend, with Eddie Howe’s Magpies controlling the game.

Ten Hag ended a six-year trophy drought last season by winning the Carabao Cup, which Manchester United has already been eliminated from. Additionally, his team is in danger of losing the UEFA Champions League; in order to advance, they must defeat Bayern Munich and hope that FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray will draw.

In July 2022, Ten Hag was named Red Devils manager. He signed a three-year deal after leaving Ajax for Old Trafford and has overseen 52 wins in 83 games.
