Micah Richards stepped in and pinned a man against a wall
This morning, Keane emerged from hiding as he took his two dogs for a stroll.
The United icon went along a residential street with a black jumper covering his face while donning a white t-shirt and loose grey shorts.
It comes as footage of the brawl surfaced last night, showing his Sky Sports colleague Micah Richards pushing a man against a wall.
The incident reportedly left both commentators rattled.
Witnesses have also related how Keane requested that nearby workers call the police.
Sky is currently beefing up security, according to Sun Sport.
As the game came to an end, Keane and Richards made their way to the pitchside while waiting by a lift.
But after Alejandro Garnacho had a score disallowed for offside, both attempted to head back to the Sky studio.
The pair were eventually escorted away by security, where they were both able to give their post-match analysis for Sky.
Arsenal are cooperating with authorities with the investigation underway.
A club spokesperson added: “We are aware of an incident that took place during our match against Manchester United on Sunday.
“The Metropolitan Police is conducting an investigation into the matter and we are fully cooperating with their enquiries.”
A spokesperson for Sky Sports said: “We understand the police are investigating an alleged assault by a member of the public immediately preceding the footage circulating on social media.
“In the footage seen, Micah Richards was acting to defuse a situation.”
A Met Police spokesman confirmed the force has launched an investigation.
A statement read: “Police are investigating following an assault that is alleged to have occurred at the Emirates Stadium during an Arsenal v Manchester United match on Sunday, 3 September.
“There have been no arrests. Inquiries are ongoing.”
