His strength comes from working out hard and eating well, which has also taken away his “wiry” look.

Mainoo has changed a lot over the years, and people like Cheadle and Steve Vare, who has known him since he was five years old and is in charge of FC Gately’s school, have been shocked by it.

“I went to the Youth Cup final,” he told the Manchester Evening News. He’s almost impossible to recognize.

“Because he’s grown up now and was so little when he was at Cheadle and Gatley.”

“When I first saw him, I thought he was wiry, strong, and quick on his feet.”

“He’s a big kid now, and I thought he played great in the Youth Cup final against Nottingham Forest.”

“When I make my kids laugh by telling them I coached him, they say, ‘But only for a short time.'”

“Cheadle and Gatley clearly only had a small impact on his growth, and as with everything at the grassroots level, it’s just a base for the kids.”

“But everybody at Cheadle and Gatley is so happy for him, and it’s great to see him doing so well.”
