An Argentine star named Lionel Messi takes a picture with a Formula 1 car that can go as fast as the new Adidas F50 shoes.
A picture of the Argentine star posed with a Formula 1 car is used to boost sales of the new F50 boots.
Even though Messi has a lot of fast cars, he doesn’t drive an F1 car. The FIFA World Cup was won by him.
A 1957 Ferrari 335 S Scaglietti Spider is one of them. It is the rarest car he owns and also the most expensive.
A German company called Adidas makes sportswear and shoes. As part of a campaign to sell the relaunched F50 boots, they shared pictures of Lionel Messi posing with a Formula 1 race car.
Messi and Nike both wrote on their Instagram pages:
I found the fast car I was looking for. It means “I found the ride that fits my 𝒚𝒏𝒖.”
Because football players (like Messi) have to move and react faster than ever, the F50 boots, which are based on F1 cars, were carefully made to be fast and work well for the game.
The SVP of Product and Design at Adidas, Mr. Sam Handy, said:
A lot of people have said that the F50 is the most important boot in the last 20 years. After being off the ice for 9 years, it’s time to bring back the speed that changed the game.
“Tactics, stats, and often rigid tactical structures have taken over modern football. Going fast is sometimes the only way to break the game.”
A 1957 Ferrari 335 S Scaglietti Spider is the most expensive car in Messi’s collection. He also won the FIFA World Cup and has a collection of fast cars. He’s not going to be driving an F1 car any time soon, though.
He beat out his foe Cristiano Ronaldo to buy the 1957 Ferrari 335 S Scaglietti Spider at an auction for a huge $36 million. Ronaldo used to play for Real Madrid and won the Ballon d’Or eight times.
