The star of Liverpool who also makes people laugh at Anfield Stadium, Ibrahima Konate, has modelled for the Spanish fashion publication FAMA.

In an interview with the journal, the defender cited French player Karim Benzema as his influence for fusing fashion and football.

Konate, who is regarded as the “iron center-back” because of his cool-headedness on the field, applied this same composure to the photo shoot. The photo shoot demonstrated his adaptability and capacity to play a variety of roles. Konate’s entry into the modelling world demonstrates that he is not only a gifted football player but also a future style icon.
