Peter Saville, a graphic designer and co-founder of Factory Records in Manchester, made a number of record covers. It took eight months to organize the Manchester/Chanel takeover, which featured prominent Manchester-based figures such singer Jeanette Winterson and poet John Cooper Clarke.
