Lionel Messi and Mac Allister have honored Argentina’s greatest soccer hero, Diego Maradona, by posing in the uniform he wore on his final goal-scoring occasion.

At the United States-hosted 1994 World Cup, Maradona scored a goal against Greece before being eliminated from the competition due to an ephedrine test result.

However, Messi’s millions of followers worldwide will not miss the significance of him and Mac Allister posing in the shirt.

Messi, who is currently the No. 10 for his country, helped Argentina win the World Cup in 2022, and with that victory, he cemented his place in the Maradona category back home.
