Liverpool’s senior players enjoyed a busy summer of international involvement, with 19 getting minutes on the pitch and four making major finals

Liverpool’s senior players had a busy summer of international action, with 19 appearing on the pitch and four reaching major finals.

After the Copa America and Euros, Arne Slot’s team’s 2023/24 season is officially over.

Alexis Mac Allister was the only Red to win a trophy, while Luis Diaz, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Joe Gomez received runners-up medals, and Darwin Nunez received a bronze.

Pre-season has already begun at the AXA Training Centre, but a busy summer of international competition means that many players will not return until August, only weeks before the regular season begins.

Liverpool’s players played a total of 5,600 minutes of friendly and competitive action this summer, but who played the most, who scored the most goals, and who provided the most assists?
