Jude Bellingham is a sought-after player; the Real Madrid midfielder is rumored to be in the running for a big endorsement deal with Louis Vuitton.
Consequently, what happened?
Following his €103 million (£90 million/$112 million) transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Santiago Bernabeu, the England international has been having an incredible influence on the field. In just 14 games in all competitions, he has scored 13 goals for the Blancos and won the Golden Boy and Kopa trophies in 2023.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Bellingham’s fame is rapidly growing, and according to the Daily Mail, the French design giant Louis Vuitton is interested in signing the gifted 20-year-old. Prior to the 2022 World Cup, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo appeared in a classic chess-playing advertising campaign. They had previously collaborated with Pele, Diego Maradona, and Zinedine Zidane.
DID YOU KNOW?
Given that Bellingham attended the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris last month wearing a Louis Vuitton suit, it would seem that he is the ideal partner for the fashion brand. Aside from his boot partnership with adidas, he has no other endorsement deals.
WHAT NEXT FOR BELLINGHAM?
Bellingham did appear in a Gucci photo shoot in 2022, and they were eager to sign him. However, Gucci already has an agreement for more than £1 million with England and Manchester City player Jack Grealish, so Louis Vuitton may have an advantage in the competition to acquire Bellingham.
