Gremio confirmed that the scorer will be leaving soon, so Luis Suarez is free to see Lionel Messi again at Inter Miami.

The senior forward will be leaving Brazilian football at the end of the year because his contract was agreed to be terminated early. Following that, Suarez will be able to go to the United States and join Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba at MLS team Inter Miami, where they all used to play for Barcelona.

When asked about leaving Suarez, who has scored 26 goals in 51 games for Gremio, Renato Gaucho told media, “Are we going to miss him?” Without a doubt, everyone loves him a lot. I had the chance to work with a great trainer who was one of the best in the world and had the fourth-highest score in the world.

This hole will stay open for a year because it’s hard to find someone with his skills and talents. It’s not possible to bring him in financially once you find someone else. Unfortunately, as I already said, it was hard for him to stay. It was what everyone wanted, but only he could change his mind. He has to leave, though, so Gremio’s attack will be missing something. Then it’s up to the president and board to find someone else to strike. It was a lot of fun for everyone in the club, not just me. A person who always gave their all, a great worker.”

Renato also talked about how Suarez has changed things in Brazil, saying, “It’s a great sadness for everyone.” Suarez, who is 36 years old, still has a lot of energy and wants to win at all costs. He came in at the start of the year and has been very helpful to us. The fans were really into him. He is a true professional both on and off the field. He got there quietly; he was letting go, having fun, and going along with the games. It was easy for me to pull him out of practice or a game, but he always wanted to keep going. It doesn’t bother him that he wants to play every game.

ESPN FC on X: "Inter Miami announced they have secured an extra international roster slot, which allows them to add a non-U.S. national player before the MLS transfer window closes on Aug.

On Sunday, Suarez will play in his last home game for Gremio. It will be against Vasco da Gama. His last game will be on December 7 away at Fluminense. After that, he will be able to take a short break before possibly joining Messi and Inter Miami for pre-season training before the 2024 MLS season.
