The third part of the Marin ‘ili’ Foundation’s charity and sports event Gem Set Croatia took place in Zadar.
The best athletes in Croatia played tennis today at Vinjik in Zadar to raise money for charity.
Respectable athletes from many sports were brought to Zadar, known as the “city of basketball,” by Marin “ili” and his foundation. Their moves made the crowd happy.
Not only “ili,” but also Eduardo da Silva, Valent Sinkovi, Ivica Zubac, Dario “ari,” Matea Jeli, Valentina Mrnjavi Pereglin, Filip Zubci, Andrej Gaina, Andrija Stipanovi, Ante “i,” Zoran Planini, Danijel Subai, Manuel “trek,” Anelo Kvesi, and Doris Bai were all at the performance.
The game was quickly stopped to give Luka Suba a golden log while retired Croatian goalie Danijel Subai, who used to play with him on the national team, was on the field.
“At least something golden,” Subasic said with a smile.
A sports field will be built in Stankovci with the money from this effort.
Marin Ili said, “They have to do PE in the school hallway because they don’t have anywhere else to go.”
Ivan Ljubii just got back from Wimbledon and is now in Zadar:
“I’m glad that a base like this stays in place. Everyone is excited the first year, so it’s easy, but starting a ritual takes work, and Marin is able to do it. Gol says what he thinks.
“When I started the Foundation, I wanted to make a structure that works the same way every year, give it a traditional feel, and help the community every year.” I didn’t think it would go this far or for such a lovely story to hit such highs. “Top class in any situation,” Marin Cilic said.
“The first two events happened in Alata and Petrinja, and they were both very sad.” There were four parks built, and it was really cool.
